Coleus Assorted
Coleus Assorted is Easy-to-grow coleus plants aren’t just shade plants anymore. Heat and sun-tolerant varieties are widely available, making them a popular choice for any outdoor planting. Although technically an evergreen perennial, coleus are usually grown as annuals because these tender tropical plants can’t handle even the slightest frost.

- Watering: Coleus Assorted requires regular watering.. Coleus are thirsty plants, so keep the soil moist. However, avoid overly damp soil, as this can cause leaf drop or root rot. We recommend using self-watering containers.
- Soil: Coleus thrives in any average, moist, but well-draining soil. Use a high-quality, well-draining potting soil in containers.

- Propagation: The most common way to propagate coleus is through stem cuttings. This method is fast, and effective enough to be done in either water or soil. Single leaves sadly won’t work. But thankfully stem cuttings are simple to take and easy to root.
Plant protection & care:
- The coleus is susceptible to a few pests and diseases, though no more so than is normal, keep an eye out for mealybugs and spider mites.
- The biggest issue is root rot, which can result from soil that doesn’t drain well, or a pot that doesn’t boast drainage holes.
- Your coleus plant may also become afflicted with downy mildew, which is caused by excess humidity and can be spread by nearby plants.
